Apollo - NS inks. UV Sheet-fed Offset Laminating Ink - VOC free
Apollo NS inks have been specifically designed for the production of plastic cards for the Non-Secure (NS),
gift card, decorative and loyalty card market segments. They offer good adhesion to plastic substrates used
in these industries coupled with excellent ease of use, optimum lamination strength and are priced
competitively for this fast moving, demanding market.
Apollo NS inks are designed to be cured with UV (Ultra Violet) light and have a wide water window for on
press stability. They are highly pigmented to offer low film weight and high colour strength.
All of the Apollo NS inks range are VOC free, have a low odour and will run with or without IPA (Iso Propyl
Alcohol).
Recommended Printing Conditions:
Substrate: It is recommended that the substrate has a surface tension (dynes/cm
level) of at least 38 to give optimum adhesion.
Film Weight: A wide range of film weights can be achieved dependent on press
type, substrate and UV curing capability
Colours: A 4 colour process set is available. If you require other colours please contact your
local sales representative for more information.
Usage: Plastic card production for Non-Secure applications including: gift and loyalty cards,
also luggage tags and a wide range of other applications
