Mara Shield UV-PGL Primer
This is the cross cutting test result of a printed image on a pre-treated glass with primer vs a not pre-treated glass: As you can see, without primer the ink adheres much worse. The primer effect of our Mara Shield UV-PGL lasts up to six months on glass. This gives the advantage that a larger quantity of glass can be coated once and then put into storage.
The process consists of three steps:
1. Coating the glass with the primer Mara Shield UV-PGL
2. Printing the motif on glass with the ink Ultra Jet DUV-GR
3. Coating the glass with opaque white with Mara Shield UV-CGL
